With “Sunflowers,” nocapz. explores a more organic direction, incorporating live drum elements and layering vocals with textured synths to create an emotional, evolving soundscape. “All I Know” leans into a balance of melancholy and groove, shaped by lo-fi house influences and warm, understated drums. A guitar sample reminiscent of Brazilian live music group BaianaSystem’s rhythmic style anchors the track, giving it a soulful, intimate character. “Braziliannn” draws from a bossa nova loop, pairing its smooth melodic core with a deep, sub-heavy bassline and dynamic arrangement inspired by club-ready structures.
nocapz. comments about releasing on Mochakk’s label: “Being part of MOTRAXX is a true honor and a major milestone in my career. I’m proud of the three tracks I’m releasing and excited to join a label that, like me, refuses to be boxed into specific genres or aesthetics. MOTRAXX’s openness perfectly reflects the vision I have for my music and my project. I still vividly remember the first time I heard Mochakk’s ‘Dong’ with friends in Salvador - it was one of the most unforgettable musical moments I’ve experienced. That moment inspired me deeply, and now releasing on his label feels surreal. Looking ahead, I believe this release will stand out as one of the most important milestones of my journey as an artist.”
The release marks another step in nocapz.’s trajectory, having evolved from taking DJ lessons with Mochakk to collaborating and performing alongside him globally, including at Mochakk Calling Festival in Malta.
The Solarce Brothers return to the label with “Insensato,” further cementing their status as one of Brazil’s fastest-rising acts. Known for channeling Brazilian musical roots into club-driven productions, the duo continue to build on a growing catalogue and international presence. Following their focus track on MOTRAXX - Vol. 2 with “One Woman Man” alongside Jame C, they return with a bouncy, vocal-led deep house cut that reflects their evolving sound, alongside continued global touring with Mochakk.
Analu adds “Amanda” to the compilation, bringing a refined balance of groove and melodic depth. Following her latest release “I Don’t Want You” on MOTRAXX - Vol. 2, the DJ and producer continues to gain momentum both in Brazil and internationally, with sets at major festivals including Lollapalooza Brasil and Mochakk Calling in Malta.
As Brazil strengthens its position as a creative powerhouse in electronic music, MOTRAXX remains at the forefront of this movement. With a strong sense of community and a new wave of emerging talent, the label continues to highlight artists shaping the global sound and influence of its home country’s vibrant electronic music scene.
